Light Falls Trailer Is Out

The first official trailer for a thriller titled Light Falls is out, the latest feature film directed by Phedon Papamichael.

The film revolves around a young lesbian couple is vacationing on a Greek island and they decide to explore an abandoned hotel. An accident and a clash of different worlds set off a spiral of violence and revenge.

The film stars Elensio, Nini Nebieridze, Silvio Goskova, Juxhin Plovishti, and Jurgen Marku.

Set in Greece, the film follows two groups that couldn't be more antipodal: a well-off young lesbian couple from L.A. and three young Albanian workers. Papamichael truly shows his sixth sense in a suspenseful thriller about the most current issue in our society: the other(ness). Once the light falls on an abandoned hotel site, the violence explodes at night.

Supported by highly gifted newcomer actors (in particular Elensio and Nimi Nebieridze), Papamichael stands out as a responsible, righteous, and reflective director who dives deep into our human soul. This wise genre film will stand in the tradition of masterpieces and surely find its place in the hall of fame of world cinema.
