Improvisation Creates The Magic Of Khichdi Says Supriya Pathak

Veteran star Supriya Pathak, who will be seen reprising her role of Hansa from hit Khichdi, says the improvisation on the sets the high comic quotient.

Aatish Kapadia along with entire ensemble including Supriya Pathak, Rajeev Mehta, Anang Desai, Vandana Pathak, Jamnadas Majethia, Kirti Kulhari and more grace the trailer launch of Khichdi 2- Mission Paanthukistan.

Talking about improvising the script during the shoot, Supriya Pathak said, “We did a lot of improvisation during the filming, that is what has created Khichdi, the chemistry and fun, comes from the improvisation, the filmmaker Aatish do give us a script, but the improvisation that keeps on happening, from that Khichdi is shaped.”

Actor Jamnadas Majethia further added that the improvisation doesn’t just happen on sets, even during the dubbing they keep on adding new stuff. He said, “We even improvised the film during the dubbing, there are lines which we added during the dubbing, even after the film shoot is complete.”

When asked about Khichdi losing its charm and turning into a commercial money-making scheme, actor Anang Desai said, “Khichdi is still Khichdi, someone said it has become a biryani, no it hasn’t, it is still the same, but little bit spicier.”
