Suriya 43 Confirmed, Helmed By Sudha Kongara

Superstar Suriya announces his new movie, untitled action thriller is confirmed with a working title of Suriya 43, also starring Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Varma and Nazriya in the lead roles.

Sharing the motion promo on his social media, Suriya Sivakumar tweeted, “Dear all we are excited! Joining hands with @Sudha_Kongara again in a @gvprakash musical, his 100th! SO looking forward to work with my brother @dulQuer and the talented #Nazriya and the performance champ @MrVijayVarma, Glad @2D_ENTPVTLTD is producing this special film!  #Jyotika @rajsekarpandian #Suriya43”

Helmed by Sudha Kongara, the movie will delve into the 1967 anti-Hindi imposition movements in Tamil Nadu and the people’s struggle. 2D Entertainment is funding this project, and GV Prakash is composing the music.

Suriya is also busy wrapping Kanguva, a period action drama film directed by Siva, the film also stars Disha Patani and Bobby Deol (in their Tamil debuts), alongside Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, K. S. Ravikumar and B. S. Avinash.

Kanguva is scheduled to be released theatrically in early 2024 in 2D as well as 3D formats.
