On Dussehra in 2023, Kangana Ranaut attended Delhi's largest Ramlila event, held at the historic Red Fort grounds, where she was given the honor of performing the Ravan Dahan (the symbolic burning of the demon king Ravana). The event was organized by the Lav Kush Ramlila Committee and attended by other notable figures, including Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena.

Kangana looked stunning in a traditional saree, complemented by heavy jewelry and makeup. She tied her hair into a bun for the occasion and was seen chanting "Jai Shree Ram" during the event.

She had previously announced her participation on Instagram, mentioning that she would be the first woman in the 50-year history of the Red Fort Ramlila to set the effigy of Ravana on fire.

Apart from her Dussehra participation, Kangana is currently busy promoting her upcoming action film 'Tejas.' The movie centres around the remarkable journey of Tejas Gill, an Air Force pilot, and aims to inspire and evoke a deep sense of pride in every Indian by showcasing the dedication and challenges faced by Indian Air Force pilots in defending the nation.

Tejas' is written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, with a scheduled theatrical release on October 27, 2023.

In addition to 'Tejas,' Kangana is also involved in another project titled Emergency.'
