The Curse Trailer Is Out

A24 drops the official trailer for a crazy brilliant new satire series called The Curse, a strange "genre-bending" creation straight from the mad genius minds of Nathan Fielder and filmmaker Benny Safdie.

The Curse is a scripted comedy that explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring on their problematic HGTV show.

The series stars Emma Stone, Nathan Fielder, and Benny Safdie, along with Barkhad Abdi, Corbin Bernsen, and Constance Shulman.

The premise, which nimbly touches upon inescapable American issues of race, class, and capital, the makers branch out into an increasingly tangled network of ethical and moral gray zones, expertly balancing the tender and the merciless.
