Jigarthanda DoubleX First Single Maamadura Out On This Date

Jigarthanda DoubleX, a standalone prequel to Jigarthanda (2014) and stars Raghava Lawrence and Suryah in the lead roles will have its first single, Maamadura, release on 9th October.

The official handle of Five Star Creations LLP dropped the first look poster and deeds of the song on social media, it said, “Almost time to dance to the first single from #JigarthandaDoubleX  #Maamadura releasing on 9th October, at 12.12 PM. The film is set in 1975, it revolves around a filmmaker (Suryah) and a dreaded gangster (Raghava Lawrence) collaborates to make a western film.

Helmed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Alankar Pandian and S. Kathiresan under the banners of Stone Bench Films, Five Star Creation and Invenio Origin.

The soundtrack and background score are composed by Santhosh Narayanan while the cinematography and editing are handled by S. Thirunavukkarasu and Shafique Mohamed Ali.
