'We have had all types of heroes, it's just that OTT has helped put a torch on our face', Vijay Varma

Vijay Varma known for his standout performances and is loved by the audience for his recent release 'Jaane Jaan' said that there have been all kinds of heroes ever since the movies have been in making ,it is just that OTT has put a torch on their face."

From being a supporting actor to becoming one of the most loved actors of today's time, Vijay Varma has showcased his talent and versatility in every role of his. The actor was seen addressing the audience at the India Today Conclave 2023 on October 4 in Mumbai where he opened up redefining the definition of a hero  and what he would like to do next.

Talking about him redefining the definition of hero, he said, "I think we have had all types of heroes ever since the movies have been in making. I don't think we have redefined the definition. It is just that when I went to film school, I found a different hero. I watched movies by Shyam Benegal, Govind Namdev, Sai Paranjpye and I found a treasure. I found a new perspective of cinema. So I think we have all types of heroes, it is just that because of OTT, there is a torch being put on our faces now. "

Talking about that one role he would want to try, he said, "I desperately want to do a comedy film now as it will be a change of pace for me. I think I want to try at least, maybe I might fail miserably but definitely want to give it a shot. "

On the work front, Vijay will be next seen in 'Afghani Snow' which is being produced by Karnesh Ssharma and Homi Adjania's 'Murder Mubarak'.
