Yaariyan 2 Script Is Unique And New Says Divya Khosla Kumar
Divya Kholsa Kumar, who made her directorial debut with Yaariyan, said that the script for second installment is unique and new, hence she revived the Yaariyan brand.
Divya Khosla Kumar along with Yash Dasgupta, Anaswara Rajan, Meezaan Jafri, Warina Hussain, Pearl V Puri, Radhika Rao, and Vinay Sapru, was interacting with media during the trailer launch of Yaariyan 2.
We asked Divya about her reasons for opting out of directing the second installment, and she said, “I thought about directing the film myself, but I never came across a script which would justice to it, than Radhika and Vinay came forward with a script, which revolves around friendship among cousins, and I found it very unique and new, because generally we see friendship among friends, but never cousins, and I think this is first time in Indian cinema this element has been explored.”
“You know, our cousins are our best friends, we grow with them, we share everything with them, every secret, the script was so good that we had to bring back the Yaariyan 2 brand” added Divya.
The coming-of-age romantic drama is directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, the film revolves around the relationship between three cousins as they navigate through their difficulties in life.
