Mumbai, 21st September 2023 (Newshelpline) - National award winner Madhur Bhandarkar celebrates 11 years of Heroine, his first ever outing with Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Sharing a string of pictures with birthday girl Kareena Kapoor Khan, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar captioned his post, “Celebrating the 11th anniversary of the film #Heroine! This film depicted the gritty truth dark side of Showbiz.”

Heroine released on 21 September 2012 across 2000 screens, coinciding with Kapoor's 32nd birthday. Kapoor received a Best Actress nomination at the 58th Filmfare Awards for her performance in the film.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is celebrating her 42nd birthday, today.

The film also stars Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Shahana Goswami, Raqesh Bapat, Divya Dutta, Helen, Shilpi Sharma, Mugdha Godse and Lillete Dubey.

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor will soon be seen in Netflix’s Jaane Jaan, after that she has lined-up two big releases, such as The Buckingham Murders and The Crew.
