Jackie Shroff Urge Youngsters To Get Involved In Clean-up Drives

Actor Jackie Shroff, who has been champion of clean India, said that it is time for youngsters to get involved in clean-up drives and plant trees.

Jackie Shroff along with Israeli General consul Kobbi Shoshani participated in Coastal Clean-up Day Event hosted by actress Tanishaa Mukerji.

While interacting with Newshelpline, actor Jackie Shroff in his own style said, “I am not doing a favour by coming here, it is not a favour to anyone to plant a tree or pick-up the garbage, one shouldn’t dump it in the open in the first place. Kids should understand and get involved, next time you see someone dumping garbage on the road, ask him to pick it up. I am here to inspire these kids, I didn’t come here to give a lecture, I just don’t want to see future generation kids picking up garbage we left behind.”

“I can speak on saying the same thing, that doesn’t make any difference, in order to keep it clean, you got to clean it, they are doing it. I am concerned that we’re leaving this behind for them (garbage), Keep your surroundings clean, plant some trees, that is all we need to do” added Jackie.

Further adding, Jackie said, “I am so impressed, I am going to send Tiger Shroff as well here. Why should other people’s kids clean up this place, my kid should also participate.”

On the work front, Jackie Shroff was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer Jailer. Next, he will be seen in Baap, a crime drama also starring Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt and Mithun Chakraborty.
