Rio Kapadia Last Rites Took Place In Goregaon

Mumbai, 15th September 2023 (Newshelpline) - Actor Rio Kapadia, known his role Ali Ghazi in Khuda Haafiz with Vidyut Jammwal, passed away at the 66 following a prolonged struggle with cancer. His final rites took place today, on Friday, at Shiv Dham Shamshan Bhumi, in Goregaon.

Veteran actor Darshan Jariwala, Singer Javed Ali and many more were seen consoling the family and paying their last respect to the deceased.

Rio Kapadia was last seen in series Made in Heaven Season 2, he played the role of Mrunal Thakur's father. He has also worked in popular films such as Chak De India, where he played the role of a commentator, as well as Happy New Year, and Dil Chahta Hai.

Additionally, he gained popularity through his appearances on television, having acted in various TV shows such as Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke, Kutumb, Judwa Raja, and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

Rio Kapadia was married to Maria Farah. He was also a talented sketch artist who often shared glimpses of his artwork on social media.
