Ahead of its premiere at TIFF, Aamir Khan Productions unveils the teaser for Kiran Rao helmer Laaptaa Ladies.

Laapta Ladies marks the second directorial for Kiran Rao after Dhobi Ghat, the film is a quirky and intriguing drama revolving around two missing brides from a train.

The film stars Sparsh Srivastav, Pratibha Ranta, Nitanshi Goel, Ravi Kishan, Chhaya Kadam and several others.

The film centres around a jolly mess, when two young brides hilariously entwine in a riot of mistaken identities, and go missing.

Biplab Goswami is credited with the original story with Sneha Desai writing the screenplay and dialogues and Divyanidhi Sharma penning the additional dialogues. Ram Sampath is the music composer and Vikash Nowlakha handles cinematography.

The film will arrive in cinemas on January 5, 2024.
