SJ Suryah’s Character In Mark Antony Has A Ranveer Singh Connection

Mumbai, 7th September 2023 – Actor SJ Suryah, who plays this quirky and nutty gangster in forthcoming Mark Antony, shares an interesting Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Padmaavat connection with his role.

SJ Suryah along with Vishal were interacting with media in Mumbai to promote the Hindi version the Tamil movie.

When asked about prepping for his role, and what prompted him to take such a challenging role, SJ Suryah said, “I remember Ranveer Singh once said in an interview, he was saying that Sanjay Leela Bhansali had asked him, if he has 1000 Kgs balls, and he asked, why do you ask? And Sanjay said, only then you can do Padmavaat role, so like that, this role demanded the same kind of thing, from dubbing to shooting, I had to use all the nerves I had starting from my foot to head, it demanded a lot of energy to dub the role.”

Further adding, SJ Suryah praised his co-actor Vishal for putting in extra efforts to take the film globally.

He said, “Vishal is the reason why I am in this film, he told me just listen to the story, I liked it, Adi gave me the narration and I decided this one will go beyond the borders, definitely it will reach the entire world, I felt that, and I even told Vishal the same, and he took care of this film on each and every step, on every department. He personally felt a connect to the film, he does the same for every movie, but this one is special.”
