Muttiah Muralitharan Arrives In India To Promote 800
Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan along with wife and all-rounder Sanath Jayasuriya have arrived in India to promote 800, based on the life of the spinner. The trio was spotted at Mumbai airport.
Muttiah Muralitharan and his wife, Madhimalar Ramamurthy along with Sanath Jayasuriya were seen at the Airport. The trio posed for paparazzi, and exchanged greetings with onlookers.
Indian master blaster Sachin Tendulkar will be unveiling the official trailer of 800, a biopic based on Muralitharan, trailer on the 5th September, today.
The biopic is written and directed by MS Sripathy, actor Madhurr Mittal will be seen portraying the role of the legendary Sri Lankan spinner in his biopic. The film will be released in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
Muttiah Muralitharan holds Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) and he does not need a visa for travelling to India. He qualifies for this status because his family originates from India.
