An Actor Is An Actor, Regardless Of Medium Says Hiten Tejwani

Mumbai, 1st September 2023 (Newshelpline) - Actor Hiten Tejwani, who has made a successful transition from Television to films and now OTT, says for an actor, performance is important, medium makes no difference.

Hiten Tejwani was interacting with Newshelpline during the trailer launch of Disney Plus Hotstar’s new series Kaala, based on reverse Hawala.

Talking about making his transition from Television to films and now OTT, Hiten said, “I am always looking for good roles, and I am not very particular about doing this or doing that, I am an actor, so I will do best roles wherever possible, and whatever the medium might be, and I think it is high time that we take away this line, that he is television actor or film actor, an actor is an actor, across all platforms.”

“Abroad, an actor does everything, from stage, OTT, films and more. I get a good role, I get a good opportunity, I see the whole picture, plus with whom I am working, what does he wants me to do, does he want to do something different, like in this Kaala, I am doing something different, as I was offered something different. For an actor it is a good thing, if you get to experiment with different roles all the time” added Hiten.

Helmed by Bijoy Nambiar, the series also stars Avinash Tiwary, Taher Shabbir, Jitin Gulati, Rohan Vinod Mehra, and Elisha Mayor.
