Improving Single Screens Condition, Only Sunny Deol Can Do It Says Esha Deol
Mumbai, 30th August 2023 (Newshelpline) - Esha Deol, who is the half-sister of Sunny Deol, says that only her brother has single handedly improved the footfall for single screen, which is important for film Industry.
Esha Deol was interacting with Newshelpline to celebrate her National Award win for his debut production venture Ek Duaa.
When asked about Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 has shattered box-office collection records, Esha Deol said, “Gadar 2 has opened the pathway for single screens in a way that only Sunny Bhaiya can do it. He has opened the doors for single screens, and it is such happy news. Because the business that single screens generate is also important for our industry. Not just Gadar 2, a lot of movies have done good business recently. The process has started.”
Talking about her journey and winning the prestigious award, Esha said, “My journey has been long, only now I am getting the appreciation for it, I just own National Award, it is such a huge honor, it is an encouragement, and the fact that I am still working, I have two web-series recently, Rudra and Hunter, now I’ve finished my film, titled Main with Amit Sadh.”
“There was a time when I did teeny-pooper fun romantic action films, now I am approaching work with sensibility and different mentality, this is a natural organic process” added Esha.
