Farhan Akhtar Celebrates 15 Years Of Rock On!!
Mumbai, 29th August 2023 (Newshelpline) - First ever Indian rock band movie, Rock On clocks 15 years of its release, and lead actor Farhan Akhtar expresses his gratitude to fans for the love and appreciation.

Release in 2008, Rock On!! was written and directed by Abhishek Kapoor, produced by Farhan Akhtar, and with music by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy.
The film marks the successful Bollywood debut of Akhtar and Prachi Desai. It also starred Arjun Rampal, Luke Kenny, and Purab Kohli star as members of the Mumbai-based grunge rock band, "Magik" (formed in 1998) who reunite in 2008.
The film bagged seven Filmfare Awards, it was critically acclaimed and commercially successful. Inspired by the critically acclaimed South Korean movie 'A Happy Life'. The film was archived at the Academy Film Archive library.
