OMG-2 Cleared With Minor Cuts Confirms Makers

Mumbai, 1st August 2023 (Newshelpline) - The tussle with Censor Board over certification and cuts, is over for OMG-2, and film is ready to roar at box-office on announced date.

Ahead of its release, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has issued an ‘A’ (Adults Only) certificate to the film, without suggesting any cuts, yet recommending more than 25 modifications.

Without sharing details of certification, Ajit Andhare tweeted, “Happy to share #OMG2 is cleared & we are set for a release on 11th. No major cuts only some changes that are always part of a process. Actor Akshay Kumar starrer satirical comedy-drama OMG-2 is written and directed by Amit Rai, the film also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam Dhar, Govind Namdev and Arun Govil in pivotal roles.

OMG 2 tells the story of Kanti Sharan Mudgal, a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva, residing in the temple town of Ujjain. During a critical moment, his god manifests before him and aids him in resolving the challenges he faces.
