Putting The Quotation In Waaj Sajna Was Intentional Says Harshdeep Kaur

Mumbai, 15th July 2023 (Newshelpline) - Sufi singer Harshdeep Kaun is out with new single Waaj Sajna and talks about the meaning and reason for intentional opening quote in the music video.

Singer Harshdeep Kaur was interacting with Newshelpline during the launch of the song in Mumbai.

The music video opens with deep quotation, which is very rare for a Sufi song, when asked about the purpose of it, Harshdeep said, “The Quotation in the music video is a reference for the audience, what the character in the video is going through, and it is not just about the character, even in real life we all go through that phase in our lives. It says, often when you feel lost in life, listen to your inner voice, and you will find yourself. Sometimes it does so happen that in our own mundane lives, we get tired and start accepting our defeat, and wonder what the heck am I doing with my life?”

“That is the moment, when we shouldn’t give up and listen to our inner voice, take inspiration from our own self or people around us, only than we will be able to recognize our true self, the happiness we’re searching outside, we will find it within ourselves. Putting the quotation in the beginning of the song was intentional, so that audience get the zest of the song” added Harshdeep.

Waah Sajna is a Sufi song that delves into the themes of gratitude, self-love, and acceptance. It beautifully conveys the message of seeking God within oneself rather than in external pursuits. It explores the idea that by searching our own souls, we can find ultimate happiness and the answers to our questions.

The music video features a stellar dance performance by Mukti Mohan, it is composed by Gulrja Singh and penned by Jagmeet Bal.
