Ajay Devgn Creates Awareness About CPR And Use Of AED Machine
Mumbai, 13th July 2023 (Newshelpline) - With growing risk of heart-attack among all age brackets, socially aware actor Ajay Devgn share a video on his social media, creating awareness about CPR and use of AED machine.
Post COVID, there has been an unprecedented rise in the cases of cardiac arrest, especially in young people hitting gym or indulging in some heavy physical activities. Though cardiac arrest is a critical medical condition which requires extensive care from a medical practitioner but quick action, such as CPR can help immensely.
Sharing the video on his social media profile, Ajay Devgn tweeted, “Timely CPR and the use of an AED machine can improve the chances of survival in case of a cardiac arrest. It is a lifesaving skill that everyone can and must learn. Let us spread the awareness and knowledge and be trained in CPR so that we may be able to save someone’s life someday. In the video, Ajay Devgn talks about the importance of CPR, how to perform a CPR and what to do when someone is having a cardiac arrest.
Around 40 to 50 percent of such patients can be saved if administered Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) immediately. Hence, there is a need to create awareness among the people about CPR.
