Thanks To Ekta Kapoor, I Am Able To Work While Pregnant Says Disha Parmar

Mumbai, 30th June 2023 (Newshelpline) - Actor Disha Parmar, who is expecting her first child with singer and composer Rahul Vaidya, praises Ekta Kapoor and her entire team for making arrangements so that she can enjoy work while being pregnant with her first child.

Disha Parmar was interacting with Newshelpline at the launch of Spotlight Red- 5 teaching learning modules on menstrual health and hygiene, an initiative by Whisper and UNESCO.

Known for playing Priya Sood in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, Disha Parmar is pregnant and still working. When asked about the same, she said, “Shooting while pregnant, it is beautiful. Thanks to my producers, team, production house and Ekta Kapoor, they have managed everything so beautifully, I go and shoot for less hours, I work less hours, I go to work every day, and I do my part, the team takes care of everything else, I am enjoying it. I am happy to be working.”

Ms. Priya Goel, Additional Commissioner, GST, Mumbai also graced the event.

Praising the initiative, Disha said, “Girls stop going to school because they are embarrassed, and shame, as there are no sanitary facilities, there is no one to talk to, even 70 percent of our mothers don’t know the biology of periods, they think it is impure and dirty, so, such kind of initiatives are very important to spread awareness.”
