72 Hoorain Trailer Is Out
Mumbai, 28th June 2023 (Newshelpline) - Amidst the row with CBFC over certification, the first official trailer for 72 Hoorain is out, and this one narrates a troubling tale of radicalization and religious fundamentalism.
Helmed by two-time National Award winner Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, the film is produced by Gulab Singh Tanwar, Kiran Dagar, and Anirudh Tanwar and is co-produced by Ashoke Pandit. The film stars Pavan Malhotra and Ameer Bashir in the lead roles.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the trailer on social media, he wrote, “72 HOORAIN’ TRAILER OUT NOW… Team #72Hoorain - directed by #NationalAward winner #SanjayPuranSinghChauhan- launches the trailer of the film, which arrives in cinemas on 7 July 2023. #72Hoorain is produced by #GulabSinghTanwar, #KiranDagar and #AnirudhTanwar… Co-produced by #AshokePandit”
The trailer showcases a satirical take on terrorism and extremism. Actor Pavan Malhotra as Hakim and Aamir Bashir as Bilal boasting of the leisure and the 72 virgins in heaven only granted to the true followers of religion.
While the duo sits in a high-rise tower and discusses about life post death, visuals of bomb blasts and terrorist attack are shown. The trailer ends with two dead bodies of terrorists being thrown into the water as Hakim and Bilal look at it. It is later revealed that both of them died in a terrorist attack as they agreed to become human bomb for their cause.
