I Don’t Like Repetition Says Rajshri Deshpande
Mumbai, 27th June Actor and activist Rajshri Deshpande says she doesn’t believe in repeating the same role again, she likes doing different roles.
Rajshri Deshpande was interacting with Newshelpline to promote her new movie titled Privacy, a social thriller helmed by debutante filmmaker Sudeep Kanwal. The film follows the journey of Roopali, a distressed Mumbai surveillance center operator, who ignores protocol and begins to investigate incidents happening on her watch.
Talking about the film and her role selection process, Rajshri said, “The experience was great working on this film, whenever I work on any script, or a role, I want it to be different than what I have previously. I don’t like repetition, because every person is different, they think, look, and act differently, and they live a different life with different experiences, and roles should be different as well.”
“Laxmi of Angry Indian Goddesses is different from Neelam Krishnamoorthy of Trial By Fire, I think I like such projects. Rupali of Privacy is totally different from anything I have done before” added Rajshri.
Further adding, Rajshri said that privacy and safety is paramount for everyone, not just females.
