Avika Gor whose film '1920:Horror of the heart' got released on 23 June revealed that she got this film over a phone call and did not even audition for it.

Avika Gor who became a household name with her television show 'Balika Vadhu' and who has done many films down south has made her bollywood debut as a lead with the horror film '1920: Horror of the heart'. The actress exclusively spoke about the film, her experience shooting it and much more.

When asked how she bagged the role for this film, Avika answered, "One day suddenly Vikram sir called me and narrated the story of the film. He said we want you to play our lead in the film and that's how I got the role. I did not even audition for it. It was a big surprise for me to get such a big film like this."

Sharing her shooting experience, the actress said, "It was a wonderful experience shooting for the film. For the first time I have done a film like this which has serious horror in it. The whole process of shooting, dubbing was very interesting and when I saw the final product it became more exciting. "

Talking about her character in the film, Avika said, "It is a very interesting character. I am playing a very courageous girl who is taking the revenge of her father's death from her mother. Her journey in the film is worth watching. It's an emotional drama and I am sure everyone will like it. "

1920: Horrors of the heart' is the fifth film in the1920 franchise. . The film is directed by Krishna Bhatt, written by Mahesh Bhatt and produced by Vikram Bhatt. The film stars  Avika Gor and Randheer Rai. The film released in the cinemas on 23 June.
