I Stand By My Statement Says KRK On Adipurush Controversy

Self-claimed film critic and actor Kamaal Rashid Khan or KRK, says that he hasn’t lied when he tweeted about Varun Gupta and Amit Tulli convincing makers of Adipurush to get support from BJP for the, which back-fired.

KRK was interacting with Newshelpline at the special screening of horror film Aseq, helmed by Sarim Momin, written by Sarim Momin, starring Sonnalli Seygall, Vardhan Puri, Siddhant Kapoor, Adi Chugh, Emma Kaler, Julian Gillard, Elena Fernandes and more.

Om Raut directorial Adipurush starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan has been facing backlashes ever since it release, and KRK claims that it is gimmick gone wrong

Just yesterday KRK tweeted, “Max marketing guy Varun Gupta and Amit Tulli online supporter are main culprits to harm film #ADIPURUSH! They both convinced makers that #BJP support will make the film blockbuster.”

The tweet didn’t sit well with fans and KRK faced a lot of heat on social media for posting it.

We asked KRK about the tweet, and whether he would like to retract it, and he said, “The two names which I gave, those are correct, I think his name is Varun Gupta and he told Bhushan Kumar, that I will market this film in such a way that it will be a blockbuster. So whatever I said, I stand by it, that is correct”

Adding about the film, KRK said, “I saw the trailer and I liked it, I haven’t seen the film yet, so I really cannot comment on it. I think after a long gap a horror movie is releasing, I am sure people will love it.”
