Zoya Akhtar Hints At Gifting Mercedes To Farhan Akhtar On His Birthday

Mumbai, 22nd June 2023 (Newshelpline) - Two of the most prolific directors – Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar, graced the launch of Mercedes-AMG SL 55 Roadster in Mumbai, and Zoya joked about gifting the car to her brother on his birthday.

Brother and sister duo, Farhan Akhtar and Zoya Akhtar graced the dazzling launch of Mercedes-AMG SL 55 Roadster at the Jio World Convention Centre, in Mumbai.

While interacting with the Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz, filmmaker Zoya said, “if I were to gift this new car to my brother on his birthday, who much would it cost me”

The car cost 2.5 CR, to which Farhan Akhtar replied, “Such a little price to pay for a sister to make her brother happy”

Zoya Akhtar also further added that with financial independence more women are making choice with their life and the kind of vehicle they drive, she said, “Indian Women are unique, they are extremely special beings, I think, and they are suddenly getting educated and independent, they are financially independent and the minute you are making your money, you will make choices, about life or what vehicle you drive, so it is going to change and will get better in future.”
