Krishna Bhatt Never Allowed Me On Sets Of 1920 Says Vikram Bhatt
Mumbai, 8th June 2023 (Newshelpline) - Director and producer Vikram Bhatt, who originally conceptualized the 1920 horror franchise, shares an interesting anecdote about her daughter Krishna Bhatt making her directorial debut with latest edition, 1920 – Horrors of the Hearts.
Produced by Vikram Bhatt, the first film of the horror franchise was released in the year 2008, followed by ‘1920: Evil Returns’ in 2012. The other parts ‘1920 London’ and ‘1921’ were released in 2016 and 2018 respectively.
Vikram Bhatt’s daughter, an aspiring director Krishna Bhatt, will make her debut as a director with the upcoming horror film ‘1920 – Horrors of the Heart’.
When asked if he has helped Krishna with the movie, Vikram said, “I didn’t give any feedback to Krishna, her sensibilities are different, and she never listened to me, matter of fact, she asked me specifically not to come to her sets. I was filming right next to her, on a different set, but I was never allowed on her sets. I was asked to get out, even if I tried to sneak on sets. I once gave her some suggestions and she was like, why don’t you direct it?”
“Krishna’s understanding of the horror genre, she used to be on my sets ever since Haunted 3D was in making, she has been my assistant from then, when first 1920 released, she came for editing for the first time. There was this scene, where actress ate a cat, and I was budding it, Krishna was so fascinated and wanted to know, how I am going to dub it, I could see it in her eyes, she would direct something like this someday.”
