The Kerala Story Releasing In 37 Countries And Thank You Everyone Says Adah Sharma

Mumbai, 10th May 2023 (Newshelpline) - With political parties calling the ban on The Kerala Story, the film has entered its 5th day of running successfully with 50 crore at the box-office, the leading lady Adah Sharma of the film pens a heartfelt note and announces the international release of the film.

The Kerala Story, helmed by Sudipto Sen, backed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani. It focuses on the forced religious conversions to Islam of more than 32,000 women in Kerala, and details how many of those targeted were later sent to the ISIS-dominated country Syria.

Sharing some working stills from the film, Adha Sharma wrote, “Thank you to all the crores of you who are going to watch our film,thank you for making it trend, thank you for loving my performance. This weekend the 12th #TheKeralaStory releases internationally in 37 countries (or more)  #adahsharma”

Despite being banned in Tamilnadu and West Bengal, the filmmaker are planning to extend the release zone, the film will now release in 37 counties and more.

Naam Tamilar Katchi, a political party based in Tamil Nadu, staged a protest against the release of The Kerala Story in Chennai. The protests were started by actor-director Seeman, who led the protests at the Chennai Anna Nagar Arch near Skywalk Mall in Chennai.
