Rajinikanth Starrer Jailer Gets A Release Date

Mumbai, 5th May 2023 (Newshelpline) - Superstar Rajinikanth's 169th film, titled Jailer, the first official teaser and release date of much awaited drama is finally out.

The official handle of Sun Pictures shared the teaser, which introduces the entire ensemble, the film will hit the cinema halls on 10th August, the post read, “#Jailer is all set to hunt from August 10th @rajinikanth @Nelsondilpkumar @anirudhofficial @Mohanlal @NimmaShivanna @bindasbhidu @tamannaahspeaks @meramyakrishnan @suneeltollywood @iYogiBabu @iamvasanthravi @kvijaykartik @Nirmalcuts @KiranDrk @StunShiva8 #JailerFromAug10”

The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Jackie Shroff, Sunil, Shiva Rajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, Mohan Lal, and Vinayakan in various roles.

The film will hit the screens on August 10, cashing in on the Independence Day weekend. Earlier, it was widely reported that the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial will release on August 11. Now, it seems that the film has been preponed by a day.

Cinematography is handled by Vijay Karthik Kannan, and editing by R. Nirmal. This also marks the first collaboration of Nelson with Rajinikanth.
