Bhumi Pednekar Unveils Afwaah Trailer

Mumbai, 19th April 2023 (Newshelpline) - Actress Bhumi Pednekar unveils the trailer for Afwaah, also starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sumit Vyas in the lead roles.

The film is written and directed by Sudhir Mishra. The trailer opens with Sumit Vyas as an ambitious and brutal politician who causes riots in his home-town. He is engaged to Bhumi Pednekar, who doesn’t approve of his actions and calls him out on his prejudice, as a journalist.

While, Nawazuddin is someone who write and motivates people, finds himself running for his life with Bhumi, when he tried to save her during riots. Now, Sumit and his political team, spreads rumours that Nawazuddin and Bhumi has eloped to save his career.

The film, highlights the issues of people buying into mass hysteria which his caused by rumours.
