Simulant Trailer Is Out

Mumbai, 5th April 2023 (Newshelpline) - Vertical Entertainment drops the official trailer for Simulant, a thriller film directed by April Mullen. It stars Robbie Amell, Jordana Brewster, Simu Liu, Alicia Sanz, and Sam Worthington.

The film revolves around a woman named Faye tries to replace her newly deceased husband, Evan, with an android simulant but things aren’t what they seem.

Set in the near future, Evan (Robbie Amell), an android simulant, is created for Faye (Jordana Brewster) to replace her dead husband.  To fully realize all his human traits, Evan enlists Casey (Simu Liu), a brilliant global hacker whose mission is to remove all restrictions governing simulants' thoughts and capabilities.

In doing so, he unleashes an A.I. uprising, triggering a government manhunt led by Agent Kessler (Sam Worthington) who will take extreme measures to eliminate the rise of the android machines.

Simulant will be released exclusively on DIRECTV beginning May 5th followed by the June 2nd release in theatres and On Demand.
