Rohit Shetty Directorial Cirkus To Stream On Netflix
Mumbai, 16th Feb 2023 (NewsHelpline) - Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s directorial Cirkus, starring Ranveer Singh in double role, is all set for OTT release. The film will start streaming on OTT giant Netflix from tomorrow.
The official handle of Netflix India dropped the confirmation, it said, “An ELECTRIC invite to come and witness 2x comedy, 2x confusion and 2x drama #Cirkus comes to Netflix tomorrow! @itsrohitshetty @rohitshettyproductionz @tseries.official @ranveersingh @hegdepooja @fukravarun @jacquelinef143 @tseriesfilms”
A period comedy drama produced by Rohit Shetty Productionz and T-Series, starred Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma in dual roles alongside Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez. In the film, two sets of identical twins mixed up at birth encounter each other as adults.
Cirkus is the fifth instalment of Golmaal franchise, a spin-off to 2017 film Golmaal Again and remake of the 1982 Hindi film Angoor which itself was based on William Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors. The film was panned by critics and became one of the biggest commercial failures of 2022.
On the work front, Rohit Shetty is currently busy wrapping Indian Police Force, making his OTT debut.
