I Believe In Standing For Myself Says Rakul Preet Singh

Mumbai, 18th October 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Actress Rakul Preet Singh has been a champion of women empowerment, whether picking a strong female centric drama for silver-screen or just lending her support to a good cause, she is an empowered individual, who believe in standing for herself.

Rakul Preet Singh was interacting with NewsHelpline to celebrate the success of her new outing Doctor G with Ayushmann Khurrana, helmed by Anubhuti Kashyap.

When asked about being upfront with someone disrespectful, Rakul stated she has blood of a solider in her vein and doesn’t mind springing into action to defend herself.

She said, “If someone steps out of line and say something which is not respectful or demeaning, I think I have caught that person and gave him my piece of mind. I am from military family, I don’t take non-sense from anyone, there is Fauji in me as well, which just springs in action”

Narrating an incident, Rakul added, “I remember I was college, and we were going out on a trip, someone was following us and taking pictures of me and my friends, I caught him, I held his collar and snatched his phone, I went total gangster on him, I always feel that you must stand for yourself”
