Indian Actor And National Films Says Dhanush

Mumbai, 21st July 2022 (NewsHelpline) – Actor Dhanush has always been vocal about his displeasure about differentiation between north and south stars, the divide is unnecessary and now the actor has gone on records stating that he is an Indian actor making national films.

Dhanush along with Russo Brothers were interacting with NewsHelpline during a press conference to promote The Gray Man.

When asked about south and north tussle and how the digital platform has been leveling the field, Dhanush said, “I would appreciate it more we if are collectively called Indian actors, rather than south actors or north actors. The world is changing, and lines are fading, this is a time to come together as one big industry. It is huge industry”

“It will be really great if we function together and make movies for everybody, not just the south or north audience, not even regional film, a national film. There is no such thing as regional film, every film is a national film, north audience watch south films, south people watch north films, every film is for everybody”

“Especially with digital platform, everybody has easy access to watch everybody’s work, talent is easily seen by everyone, this a great time to be an actor as well. If you do a good job, you’re being noticed by everybody. It doesn’t make any sense, especially in this time to mention me or anyone else as south actor or north actor, we’re just actors from India” added Dhanush.
