Gangubai Kathiawadi Trailer Is Out

Mumbai, 4th February 2022 (NewsHelpline) - Gangubai Kathiawadi is a story of strength, inspiration and resilience. Journey of a girl who not only rose to power but reigned supreme, starring Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, the first official trailer for the same is out.

Alia Bhatt as Ganga or later Gangubai, pushed into prostitution from a young age, takes on society and political system to advocate for right of education for sex workers kid and make it top of the food chain as a leading force.

Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film also stars Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, Jim Sarbh, Seema Pahwa, and more.

The film is loosely based on a true story, on the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai written by S. Hussain Zaidi. The film that depicts the rise of a simple girl from Kathiawad who had no choice but to embrace the ways of destiny and swing it in her favour. The film is slated for 25th February 2022 release.
