Amitabh Bachchan Confirms Jhund Release Date

Mumbai, 2nd February 2022 (NewsHelpline) - Thespian Amitabh Bachchan starrer 'Jhund' will be releasing the film on March 4, 2022. The film has been directed by Marathi director Nagraj Manjule of 'Sairat' fame.

Amitabh Bachchan took to his social media profile and dropped a new poster and release date of social drama based on Vijay Barse. He captioned it, “Iss toli se muqaabla karne ke liye raho taiyaar! On the poster, Amitabh Bachchan is seen holding a football in his hands. the megastar plays the role of Vijay Barse, who is the founder of Slum Soccer, an organisation which uplifts underprivileged children through football.

Marking Nagraj Manjule's debut in Bollywood, Jhund chronicles Vijay Barse’s life and his contribution as a sports teacher. The film also stars Vicky Kadian and Ganesh Deshmukh in lead roles.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan also has Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' in his pipeline. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. He is also busy with Runway 34, Goodbye, Oonchai and more.
