Mumbai, 1st February 2022 (NewsHelpline) - Mirzapur fame Divyenndu Sharma starrer Mere Desh Ki Dharit has been pushed due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Helmed by Faraz Haider and bankrolled by Carnival Motion Pictures, the film has an ensemble cast of Divyenndu Sharma, Anant Vidhaat, and Anupriya Goenka in the lead roles.

The official handle of Carnival Motion Pictures dropped the deeds on the release date. It said, “The release of Mere Desh Ki Dharti stands postponed due to the covid situation. The social drama revolves around two engineers and their transforming journey in life. The film also portrays the harsh realities of farmers in the villages of India.

The film also stars Inaamulhaq, Brijendra Kala, Rajesh Sharma, Atul Shrivastava, and Farrukh Jaffar.

The story and screenplay are written by Neel Chakraborty and Faraz Haider respectively while Piyush Mishra has written the dialogues.

The film was earlier slated for 14th August 2020 release but got postponed to 11 February 2022 release, now it has been postponed indefinitely.
