Shahid Kapoor Drops Mehram Song From Jersey

The trailer of Jersey chronicles the tale of burnt out sportsman finding another chance in life, and the first single, Mehram, is an ode to theme of the movie.

The single of Jersey, titled Mehram in the voice of Sachet Tandon is out and it’s an heart-warming number about second chances in life.

Actor Shahid Kapoor dropped the single on his social media profile. He captioned it, “#Mehram... the loving comforter. The heart of our film. Hope you feel the depth of its emotion. Presenting our first song from #Jersey. The song “Mehram” gives glimpses of Shahid’s character’s emotional journey, making a return to the field of cricket all over again, his training sessions and him reminiscing his heroic past. It also drops glimpses of his relationship with Mrunal Thakur, who plays the role of his wife in the film.

Jersey is written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, a remake of his 2019 Telugu film of the same title. The film also stars Pankaj Kapur.
