Be Respectful While Playing Certain Character On Screen Says Salman Khan
Superstar Salman Khan, who has played the role of a Sikh cop in Antim, says one needs to be careful and respectful while playing particular characters on the screen.
Salman Khan has probably played almost all sorts of characters from all sorts of film genre, and follows a simple rule, which he shared with the Newshelpline team during his recent interaction.
Talking about playing a Sikh character, Salman said, “When we’re making a film on a religion, cult or certain sector of society, we need to be very careful with that and we need to give them a lot of respect.
With Antim, I played a Sardar Cop, so we made him like a warrior, and to be honest they are warriors. So, if you’re playing Muslim character, or any other character, I usually play Prem, who is a Hindu character, I never use bad language, or opt for exposing stuff, or love making or kissing scenes, I don’t do any of that stuff”
Salman Khan also pointed out his earlier releases, which sort of fell within same dimension. He added, “Like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was respectful towards Gujarati people, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun was respectful towards the idea of big joint family, I think the cinema should be clean”
