Always Wanted to Join Congress Party Says Kamya Punjabi On Entering Politics
Popular telly star Kamya Punjabi who recently joined Congress Party, says entering politics is not a sudden move, she has always wanted to enter politics, just couldn’t find the time.
Bigg Boss fame Kamya Punjabi has forayed into politics with the Congress party. She along with politician Bhai Jagtap made the official announcement yesterday.
While interacting with Newshelpline during the press conference, we asked Kamya on entering politics so suddenly, she said, “This is no sudden move, I’d always wanted to be part of politics and wanted to join Congress party, this has been on my mind for years. But I was busy with my acting career, and now my show Shakti has ended and I just wanted to do what I wanted to do for years”
“I met Poonawalla during Bigg Boss and expressed my desire to join politics, he introduced me to Bhai Jagtap and now I am part of congress” added Kamya.
During her induction into Congress Party, Mumbai Congress president Bhai Jagtap and political analyst Tehseen Poonawalla, along with other members of the Congress, extended her warm welcome.
