I Am Cancer Free Now Says Mahesh Manjrekar
Filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar confirms that he was suffering from cancer, but now with proper treatment and surgery he has beaten the odds, he is cancer free now.
Mahesh Manjrekar along with Salman Khan, Aayush Sharma and Mahima Makwana was interacting with Newshelpline at the trailer launch of Antim – The Final Truth.
When enquired about his recent weight-loss, Mahesh said, “Not just little weight, I have lost some 35 kilos, I was 105 kilos, when I started losing weight. It was during the shooting of the last portions of Antim that I was diagnosed with cancer”
“But today I am cancer free. With chemotherapy and surgery, I was able to beat it. When I got to know I have cancer, it didn't shock me. I know there are so many people who have cancer and they fight and survive."
Despite suffering from cancer, Mahesh completed the film without telling anyone about his illness.
