Shahid Kapoor’s Next Is Titled Bull, Based On Indian Paratroopers

Shahid Kapoor is all set to collaborate with filmmaker Aditya Nimbalkar for Bull, based on India’s paratroopers on the battle-field.

Jersey star Shahid Kapoor will don the Indian Army uniform in his next film, Bull. The actor will be playing the role of a paratrooper in the film, an action drama set in the 1980s, it is inspired by events from the life of Brigadier Bulsara.

T-series Films official handle dropped the confirmation on the film. It said, “Inspired by real events, we are honoured to bring to you the valiant story of India’s paratroopers on the battlefield #Bull is an action-packed entertainer. Principal photography begins 2022. @shahidkapoor #BhushanKumar @man_on_ledge #KrishanKumar @garima_mehta612 @nimbaklaraditya @gbamedia_off @tseries.official @aseemarrora #ParveezShaikh”

The film is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Amar Butala and Garima Mehta under the banners of T-Series and Guilty By Association. The actor is all set to play a paratrooper in the film, the filming of which will begin in 2022.

Bull is based on the life of Brigadier Farukh Bulsara, who led Operation Cactus in 1988 in the Maldives. The Indian Armed Forces helped Maldivian forces to take back control of the country after a coup attempt was made by a group of Maldivians led by businessman Abdullah Luthufi and assisted by armed mercenaries of a Tamil secessionist organisation from Sri Lanka, the People's Liberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE).
