Gender Equality Is An International Issue Says Abhishek Banerjee
Actor Abhishek Banerjee says that the forthcoming sports drama Rashmi Rocket is based on gender equality, which is not just restricted to one community or country, it is an international issue.
The makers of sports drama Rashmi Rocket organized a special screening of the film in the Mumbai, which was graced by Abhishek Banerjee, Taapsee Pannu, Priyanshu Painyuli and entire cast and crew, along with family and friends from the fraternity.
Talking about this role and experience of working on the film, Abhishek said, “It was a sky-rocket experience. When I read the script, I figured that we are talking about an important issue but after watching the film the entire issue had turned even more important”
“This issue is not restricted to one community or country; it is an international problem, which female athletes are dealing with and I think it’s a very important film. Now after watching it I have realized that it is also a romantic film. It talks a lot about love, it talks lot about family and stuff like this, which we never thought about while making the film, but when I watch it, I think I like that on-screen” added Abhishek.
The music of Rashmi Rocket is quite popular among fans and Abhishek finds himself raving about Amit Trivedi for composing such a great album. He said, “All the songs are amazing. I think Amit Trivedi is truly gifted and I am grateful for that the fact that he has given the music for the film and I got to be a part of it”
