'My role in the film Hindutva is quite controversial', Anup Jalota
Talking to News Helpline about the film and his role , Anup Jalota said,"The film Hindutva is very strong and emotional. The role that I have been given in the film is quite controversial. There are some dialogues which the audience will hear and get shocked. The film was almost finished in Rishikesh and some parts of it have been shot here in Mumbai now.”
When asked how he selects a role to act, he said, " First and foremost I see if the role will be easily played by me. By profession I am a singer. It has been recently that I have started to act and people have loved me. Everybody appreciated me in Paatal Lok and Sathya Sai Baba.”
Bollywood is under the radar of NCB and many drug related cases are coming to the forefront. Talking about the same, he said,"This is a very sad thing that the name of Bollywood is getting spoiled. It is like a family for us. If SRK is in trouble today, it feels like we are in trouble. But people should now be alert because the authorities have become very strict.”
The film 'Hindutva' will focus on childhood friendship, love, religion and politics. Directed by Karan Razdan, it stars Sonarika Bhadoria, Ashish Sharma, Anup Jalota and Ankit Raj in lead roles.
