Aryan Khan's lawyer to file for his bail today, NCB won't seek further probe
Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan Khan was arrested along with seven others on Sunday after NCB raided a party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai on Saturday night. The charges brought against Aryan included purchase, possession and use of banned substances.
He was sent to NCB custody for a day by Mumbai Court. He will be sent to judicial custody on Monday post which his lawyers would apply for his bail.
NCB in a statement released, "All three accused will be produced again before the court tomorrow (Monday) for their judicial custody. Remaining 5 accused, namely Nupur Satija, Ishmeet Singh Chadha, Mohak Jaiswal, Gomit Chopra and Vikrant Chhokar, were arrested later today (Sunday),”
The NCB had raided a rave party on board the Empress Cruise ship on Saturday. They had seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of MD, 21 grams of charas, 22 pills of MDMA (ecstasy) and Rs 1.33 lakh in cash from the accused.
In Aryan's memo of arrest that made rounds on the internet last night, he had acknowledged his arrest, stating, "I understand grounds of my arrest and informed the same to my family members."
