When Movies Become Movements Says Bhumi Pednekar Celebrating 4 Years Of Toilet - Ek Prem Katha

Actress Bhumi Pednekar just took to her social media profile and dropped a BTS video from Toilet Ek Prem Katha, as the movie clocks 4 years of its release.

Exactly four years to this day since the release of Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'. Marking the occasion, Bhumi took to Instagram and hailed the movie as a movement.

She captioned her post, “#4YearOfToiletEkPremKatha..When movies become movements :) So proud to be a part of this film. Full of gratitude  @akshaykumar #ShreeNarayanSingh @fridayfilmworks @viacom18studios @kriarj @reliance.entertainment @plancstudiosofficial @siddharthgarima @anupampkher #divyendu #4YearOfToiletEkPremKatha”

Helmed by Shree Narayan Singh, the social drama attempts to spread the message of eradicating open defecation in an entertaining vein. The satirical comedy supported the governmental campaigns to improve sanitation conditions in India, with an emphasis on the eradication of open defecation, especially in rural areas.

The film also starred Actors Anupam Kher, Divyenndu Sharma, and Sudhir Pande.

On the work front, Pednekar has completed shoot with Rajkummar Rao for Badhaai Do, a spiritual sequel to the 2018 comedy Badhaai Ho. She will start Shashank Khaitan's spy comedy Mr. Lele produced by Johar, alongside Kaushal and Kiara Advani.
