After shooting the entire film during pandemic, superstar Akshay Kumar who is all set to release his spy thriller in theater across nation, whips out a funny reply when asked about film’s theatrical release.

Superstar Akshay Kumar along with Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh flew down to Delhi and released the trailer of much awaited spy thriller in a theater.

While interacting with Newshelpline at the trailer launch, Akshay Kumar expressed his excitement about the forthcoming project and it’s theatrical release.

He said, “It feels so good to be in such a huge theater and watch the trailer of my film. I am happy that movie is releasing on coming 19th August and will release in every big theater. I don’t know how others feel about it, but its been 2 years I haven’t anything in a theater, I have been watching everything on Television. Eating out in restaurant feels amazing, I mean, how long we will home-deliver?”

“It is time that people stepped out and watched movies in cinema-halls, but with full safety and precaution. So that this whole machine keeps moving, my only hope right now is that this doesn’t close down again” added Akshay.

Further adding, Akshay said he is just keeping his fingers crossed for the release.  “Nothing is certain yet, we’re just keeping our fingers crossed, and still plenty of days are left for the movie to release. Anything can happen” added actor.

Helmed by Ranjit M Tewari and written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Sheikh, the film is inspired from real life hijacking events in 1980s in India, for instance the 1984 Indian Airlines Airbus A300 hijacking.

The film is bankrolled by Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Nikkhil Advani under their respective banners Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment.

The film also stars Vaani Kapoor, Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in other prominent roles. The film schedule to release in theatres on 19 August 2021 in 3D.
