Shefali Shah's directorial debut 'Someday' heads to Indian Film Festival Stuttgart 2021

Shefali Shah has amazed us with her superb acting skills and now the actress has donned the hat of a director. Her directorial debut film 'Someday' which is set against the background of pandemic is all set to be screened at Indian Film Festival Stuttgart 2021.

Sharing the news with her fans, she wrote,"We are so excited to showcase 'Someday' at @iff.stuttgart, can't begin to thank my team enough for believing in me, supporting me and giving all their love, heart & passion to our film!”

The 18th edition of the film festival will take place from 21-25 July. This year it will take place in the form of a virtual format owing to the pandemic.

The film 'Someday' is written and directed by Shefali Shah. It is a story of two women 'united by umbilical cord and separated by door.'. It is a story of a daughter who is a frontline worker and her mother who is suffering from Alzheimer’s.

Prior to this, the film was also shortlisted for the 51st Annual USA Film Festival's International Short Film & Video Competition in April.

On the workfront, the actress will be seen in the second season of the superhit show 'Delhi Crime' . Season 1 won an Emmy last year for Outstanding Drama Series making it the first ever Indian series to win this award.

She will also be seen in her husband's Vipul Shah medical thriller show 'Human' which will highlight the medical trials that have taken place all over the world for decades now. It also features Kirti Kulhari alongside her.
