'As responsible citizens, people should get themselves vaccinated', Mika Singh

The second wave of the deadly coronavirus has shaken the whole country and amidst these tough times, many bollywood celebrities are coming forward to help the people in need. Singer Mika Singh has also been helping the poor by feeding them food.He initiated free 'langar sewa' which feeds approximately 1000 people everyday.

The singer spoke to News Helpline about the same and said, "All this has been possible because of my team. To make food for 1000 people everyday is not an easy task amidst this time. But they are working hard so that the poor get food to eat. “

Singer Bhoomi Trivedi and Actor Vindu Dara Singh have also come forward to support him in his cause. Thanking them for  their help and support, the singer added,"I get a lot of support when Industry friends come and help me. Bhoomi and Vindu Dara Singh have been supporting me and my team a lot. I am very grateful that they have come forward for this good cause.”

When asked, is there a risk for them too when they come out in the open in helping the needy people, he said."We are taking proper precautions while doing this sewa. Moreover, the risk is more when we party together . That is the reason the government has closed the restaurants and party places. There is hardly any risk by helping these poor people.”

Giving advice to the people of the country, he said,"People who can not help anyone at this time should act responsible. As responsible citizens, people should get themselves vaccinated. We should wear our masks properly and take good care of ourselves."
