Recently, he became a part of the ongoing trend and gave a super hit music video 'Lut Gaye' which is gaining views in millions with each passing day. The actor spoke to News Helpline about the success of the song and much more.
Talking about the response the song is getting, he said, "I am in shock with the amount of love the song is getting. I always knew it is a good song but I never knew it will create a rage like this. Now I have stopped keeping a track of the increasing million views the song is getting. "
Giving credit to the whole team, he said, "This has been possible because of the team's hard work. Bhushan made me listen to this song during lockdown and since then I wanted to shoot it. Jubin has added his soulful voice to it. Tanishk Bagchi, Manoj Muntashir, Yukti, Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, everyone came together and added value to the song"
He further added, "Song Lut Gaye is like a masala film. There is action, romance, angst and tragdey, all in one. Everybody is humming the song. It has become an anthem for everyone."
People say there is no replacement for Emraan Hashmi when it comes to hit songs. When asked if he will be a part of other music videos as well, he said, "If I will start doing music videos every two month, people will start looking for replacement. This is the real idea of exclusivity. I will not say I will never be a part of any music video now. I will definitely do it but it should be special and fascinating"
